i love the area around bleecker street, why just last xmas day we headed to washington square with the purpose of some serious chess hustling...it was an amazing afternoon fur scoatland.......USA 0-4 Soatland.unbelievable even given the strong sweet tobacco like waft around my table (i won 1 game, the boy won 3 and he was playing lightning with a clock!)the idea is the hustlers take your money but like good scots before us we paid for the privilege (its called carnaigieism)...anyway if that wasn't good enough another short walk and your in C.E. Bigelows the chemist where you can buy the most incredible shaving cream ever invented....next day i even went into harlem and bought a cool classy homburg on 125th street...thats malcolm x's sidewalks....the day after and it was hot dogs on coney island....new york wits it like bro?
Stop off at Ardglass for a couple of jars of mussels and some potted herrings in case we get famished before dinner. On and on, over the hill and the craic is good. Chanced on Get It On on the i-Phone, crossed on a red light......
Ach I wouldn't give them the time if day DC. Just last Wed. or Thurs. left the office late... BB mentioned a double shout for Julie & HH.. two stalwarts whom I think "they" believe could join the Farcebookers... Let's sweeten them up with a shout BUT no play fir the petulant Bloggers!
