    Bowie kept off No.1 by effectively his own song when Blockbuster amd No.1 over Jean Genie at No.2. How rude!

    The Boss was kept of No.1 in the states by Prince, When Doves Cry. He refereed to this in his greatest hits notes :"My big smash! No. 2 of the charts (damn the artist formerly known as prince)."
