In the proper east, we hae a wee bit salt and then, if really needed, sauce fae a glass bottle, but it has tae be the right stuff.

    6. Told you before...the Penicuik way is best...proper watered down (chippy) brown sauce, vinegar, salt optional and a baby beetroot in a bag of chips that you eat walking home after swimming. Funnily enough, my Dad's hedge was testament to the fact that it took from the Tower Cafe to 'Ma Bit' to finish a normal sized bag of chips!

  3. I'd go with the Silencers, but I've no idea what europop is and if the songs elsewhere are anything to go by, it's going to be dross right enough. What a waste of Vic.

  4. Running for a bus is one of the worst things a person can do.

Many people have been killed let alone injured pursuing buses, a dangerous pastime.

I remember when I was at school a girl called Carol Waugh used to stand to the left of the bus queue and wait for the bus to roll round, leap into the air and grab the pole at the back as it passed and hoist herself onto the platform before anyone else could get on.

We all used to cheer when she did this trick.

One day as she performed this miracle of athletics, the bus pulled her through the air but the pole snapped off in her hand and she landed on the ground at the head of the queue, groaning and injured.

We just stepped over her and took our seats, laughing our balls off as we did so.

It was hilarious, but the driver was a bit upset about the pole.

    regardez - youse

  7. I never chase busses. However the other week I did make a nice clean horizontal line along the last carriage of the last train from Largs with my index finger whilst attempting to push the open door button to get on.

And then it started to rain.

  8. Julie, irrespective of the result of the cup final - you could hobble down to the 02 academy and watch Jimmy Cliff which is where I'll be. Doors open 7:00pm.

  10. It was good to welcome the Edinburgh folk - only 22 arrests and most of those because they were unfamiliar with local customs.

  14. Wis that you Adam?

  15. Yep, I suspect that it was news of the blog's demise and Donna's passing made him think, 'It's time I was out of here, this is getting beyond a joke'.

But what a playlist to take with you!

It's a pity he went now,the chances of our people getting the right drugs now go backwards - I'm sorry he's gone, his living was an embarrassment to those who hold all the dirty little secrets around this thing, and a positive encouragement to those blighted by the illness - I'm with Jim Swire, tragedy, all round.
