It was a very good year...

Joining us in celebrating the blogs favourite sexagenarian couple Glen and Scotch Git as the celebrate their ruby civil partnership the life of Vidal Sassoon. Mostly famous for cheap shampoo in Boots. Yes folks it is 60's night!!

    Vidal Sassoon was a tough cookie! He fought during Israel's War of Independence, 1948-1949, prior to which he was fighting fascists in the streets of London.

    Indeed, the Daily Telegraph described him as an "anti-fascist warrior-hairdresser."

  5. Had a beer with Norrie tonight. He was telling me that he was supposed to be going with Gaie to see Tom Petty but had to pull out. Being the gentleman that he is, he decided to tell her in advance rather than doing a runner at southwaite services whilst she is the loo.
