Actually, after a futile wait in a very slow queue at GRCH, I was informed that the tickets go on sale tomorrow. I informed the informer that one of her fellow issuer of tickets had informed me otherwise, but to no avail.

P.S. I thought DC was Lord Pittenweem.

  23. What's wrong with Uncle Vic? I used to think he played better tunes than BB. And I'm happy with Scottish bands as a theme. I'm going to give it a go and if Billy's predictions are correct then I'll admit I was wrong (yet again). Can't go on listening to he Archers anyhow, it's become completely ridiculous.

Just been listening to (Scottish) band called River 68s. What a superb voice their singer has. Touch of the Frankie Millers, though with a better range maybe. I'll post a link so youse can all hear it too.

I'm following Alan Morrison's top 50 list on Twitter, but I haven't really listened to any of them properly apart from Pale Fire, which was out early this year and hasn't been off my ipod since. Rachel Sermanni's Tied to the Moon is good too. Not thrilled with Django Django's second album. Saw them at The Quay Sessions, thanks to Frank, who could use his tickets owing to painting for the Turner Prize. Thought they were very good live and got the album on the strength of that.
