  1. Is it Git week on N.T.G.I.O.B??
A couple of Boney M songs fit the bill tonight and there's certainly not enough BM on GIO. Unlike Kirsty McColl....

    Here's a classic

  5. Dr Who night, eh?
Well as it happens my son and I went to the last leg of the Dr Who World Tour on Monday night. A real fan fest it was too (we didnt dress up I hasten to add).
Present were Peter Capaldi, Jenna Coleman, Steven Moffat and a Cyberman. We were also shown the first episode of the new series which I think you get tomorrow.
Very good it is too but we were all sworn to secrecy so I cant tell you anything about it.

    3. He does make a thing about being a Scottish Dr Who.

Might this be the work of Big Eck, The Master? Is Moffat a "Yes "man??

  6. What is it with the Thompson Twins? Any theme that vaguely fits and they get dozens of requests. Is it that folk remember them as being better than they actually were?

Anyway, like Julie, I'm on a bit of a roll this week. Two shouts already. Would have been three if I hadnt graciously given Norrie Toyah.

Going with this absolute classic from 78 tonight.

  9. "Johnny" has to be the name most used in songs. You certainly dont get many "Keith"s.

  11. ....A_f_R..........i've a theory about some o' they shouts.....there is an army of secret texters [interns etc etc]who are never named but who undoubtedly have the ear of 'the team'....its the silent majority of listeners who are fed up to the back teeth of the useless shouts you get on fb.....excluding the person known as the liquid ent....who imho doesn't get enough menshies.......interestingly many of the scottish bands played recently are all in the YES camp....lol.....losers....and as for that female singer, you know the one , burns and stuff and the top o' ae bus.....you wanted to see her one day in hillhead screaming her wee nut aff at some innocent BT people..pure funny......the noise from the doorstep?......a recent hardening of the NO vote in exactly the areas that have to crumble the other way....if your near a bookies......70/30 nae bother...

    cheers frae the dale

  12. Mmm...

I was undecided, but you've convinced me that being shafted by Westminster for another 300 years is a much jollier prospect than being governed by people for whom we actually vote!

P.S. As someone in the audience asked Alistair Darling, "If we're better together, why is it not better now?"
