He was superb.

    5. You've deserted Bruce for Prince - how fickle.

    6. He is easier to lift on your shoulders

    7. my friend's daughter was at the gig. She was apparently, for once, rendered almost speechless she'd enjoyed it so much, but she did say that Prince had on these amazing light-up platform shoes. Her Mum found it pretty hilarious that a 16 year-old thought platform shoes were cool.

  2. So David Cassidy or The Osmonds?
Have to say I was a fan of both but DC's songs have lasted better.
"How Can I Be Sure" would be in my Top 100.

Have you got your shout in for the Rollers Julie? I can see you with the tartan scarf tied round the wrist and baggy jeans to just below the knee. Have you got any photos???

    3. Haha Adam...I have one of me sporting a rather fetching blue BCR shirt with tartan on the shoulders etc. Unfortunately, I don't quite remember where it is. Pity eh! ;o) I bought all their singles but 'Give A Little Love' melted on the back shelf of the car shortly after I'd purchased it while on holiday! Apologies for not having joined-in much recently but my uncle has been in hospital after having suffered a stroke about 6 weeks ago and jollity's been in short supply Chez Ross recently. He seems to be making slight progress now though so, fingers crossed Jx

    4. Buggerit...posted that last bit too early. Should have got in beforehand with 'How Can I Be Sure?' as a reply to David Cassidy...Grrrr! Jx

    5. Hold fast, Julie, the improvements may be slight to start, but they'll be immeasurably special as they come. Will never forget the time I sat watching my Dad feeding himself for the first time after his very severe stroke. Every manoeuvre was so neat and precise and so much HIM. Fingers crossed for your uncle too.

  3. I jumped the stage at a Specials concert in Newcastle only to be booted by Roddy Radiation back into stalls. The bugger scuffed my Docs!
