    2. New wave music was first considered the same as punk rock before being identified as a genre in its own right, incorporating aspects of electronic and experimental music, mod subculture, disco and 1960s pop music.

    Touching story last night Julie.
Shame you had to spoil it with a Proclaimers song.
Could you not have shoe-horned that Moments and Whatnots tune in to the tale?

    1. I was just feeling soppy and it had the added bonus of annoying the likes of Scotch and Glen.

Could have done without Blondie yet again and The Undertones, but apart from that a bog standard but fair popular summary of chart "punk" hits.
But where was the New Wave??? (See Wikki Man)

    2. Disappointed they didn't play The Ruts song we suggested over 2 days Mac. Mainly the predictable but I enjoyed hearing the Skids + Boomtown Rats tracks.

      UPDATE!

To tell the truth, I was honestly disappointed with Monday's playlist. With apologies to Meat Loaf, 5 out of 20 ain't good.

I wiil not contribute on Tuesday.

Wednesday - In the vain hope of hearing Corb Lund and the Hurtin' Albertans, I shall grit my teeth and send a polite email to Uncle Vic.

      Thursday - (see previous comment).

      Friday - Mary Coughlan

      Maybe, if Richard is producing.

If not, why not try Kathryn Dawn & The Reclines?
