Sad Song

It's going to be a bit of an Emotional Yo-Yo tonight as we ask you to explore your feelings and emotions. Songs that sing of happiness or those that are just plain down in the dumps, excited, delighted, joyful or sad - step onto the Get it On Emotional Rollercoaster and hold on tight.

Sad Song by Lou Reed is unlikely to get a play.

  1. Likewise "Happiness" by Grant Lee Buffalo. A great song but perhaps a bit downbeat for people trying to dance round their kitchen?

Feelings? Feelings are what get you into trouble.

  6. It says a lot that there's to be an exhibition of Bowie's trousers but not a whisper about his music.

    1. "The Elvis Experience" opened in Sao Paulo this week.
I wrote to them and asked if the TV with the bullet hole in it was the original or just a mock up. No reply yet.
      Still, it looks good.

    2. Nope...but..I seemingly need to get a bigger mantlepiece for my song of the night awards ('Happy Hour' - Ted Hawkins)...I really didnt know it's a BB favourite since this was the third time of asking. I have no fires in my house anyway and certainly no pointless mantlepieces.

  10. Prog Rock Awards .. would Genesis have got your vote?

I reckon BJH deserve a break.

  15. Prog rock and the blog have a lot in common but it's difficult to see the energy and rage of punk rock in those unimaginative, dim-witted Facebookers who have replaced us.
