    1. The current Fairports are really good (especially Tull cohort Dave Pegg on bass) having been together for 15 years - much longer than the early line-ups. A female voice would be the icing on the cake.

    2. Oh good - since I still have their concert to watch tonight - I think it was a very recent one. I read Sandy Denny's biog a wee while back - what a wild, wild woman, but what a voice. Watched the Fairport documentary last night as well.

    5. Yes - I know nothing about playing the guitar, but even I could see in the close-up shots that he was making the strings do all sorts of things that looked to me to be way beyond his years.
