  9. Fed up with the Caption Competition. Lets get back to the Euros.
How about coming up with songs about the players taking part?
    For example:

Pepe Was A Rolling Stone (Portugal)
Mary Had A Little Lahm (Germany)
    Bendtner And The Jets (Denmark)
    De Jong Ones (Holland)
    Fly Robben Fly (Holland)
    Oh Carroll (England)

    and so on....

Hours of topical fun to be had here!!

  12. Look at what’s been played with no requests. The same guff as when “you choose the music”. Positive proof that it is, and always wa,s “guess the playlist”. The Goundhogs were brilliant on Sunday and looking forward to Dr John, Robin Williamson, The Idiot Bastard Band and Gong later this year. Any other suggestions gratefully received for consideration. And does anyone know any decent radio programmes between six and eight o’clock? I’ve tuned into a few and not been impressed with any yet. The blog was always better than the progamme. The bloggers best efforts to make it what it should have been were not welcome. We may not all like the same music but we all appreciate diversity and are open to something new and/or different. I look forward to seeing what direction this blog takes. Thanks, Henri, for pointing me in the right direction.

  20. and yes, it's good to see you, Thing-Fish.

I've written a wee note to Uncle Vic explaining that much as we'd like to enliven his repertoire for this evening, Radio Scotland has told us they'd rather we didn't.
