Mumford and Sons at the Brits: "We love being British and we love going around the world and telling people we're British." says it all. So rock and roll.
If they're the best Britain has to offer its time The Waddy made another album.
He's been ill, of course. I saw him at the Landmine concert in 2002 with Steve Earle, Nancy Griffith and Emmylou Harris. All I can remember about the night is Elvis Costello's song Alibi which he said took two years to write (and just slightly less to listen to). This from the man who brought us Mystery Dance which said it all in 1m 38s Mystery Dance. He automatically consigned himself to the pretentious box with Sting and Bono.

DeleteBTW Not a tribute band just my lack of attention to detail, I know "There's always a reason you always believed in my soul"
DeleteJust a poor joke. I liked Badfinger but they didn't have much luck. I suppose their pinnacle was playing the Bangla Desh concert.
