Very quiet

Very quiet on here and on facebook....are people moving over to texts? I have not managed to hear much of the new longer show but must admit I find my attention wandering somewhat.....an age thing I presume.

    2. When you're tired of Get It On, you're tired of life. What you need is another holiday.

    9. Glen you only like GIO cos you're their man of the moment. They'll drop you shortly, then you'll remember why we lost the blog. What's your hit-rate this week?

    10. Zilch - it must be some kind of mistake. BB King's (237 W 42nd St.) has an all-you-can-eat Gospel Brunch on Sundays. You need building up. Stevie Wonder's on a week on Sunday - get me a T shirt.

    11. Are you sure you're Glen? You sound awfully like Madmac. Perhaps that's why they've ditched you.

Oh, riiiiight, it's Norrie you're talking to. Or maybe it's Adam.

      But not me.

      Fine.

Glen is probably confusing Greenock with N.Y.C.

      Common mistake.

Only folk who don't reside in Royston call it Royston.

      You must mean The Garngad.

  6. Nope, no Alma - although that show was quite good, really. No Ringo last night.

Didn't bother to stay tuned in once obvious track from the genius soul boy, Fergie from Aberdeen, was played.

I don't get it, Half the time the guy requests a ton of shit and because they've never heard of it, they play it anyway.

    Why?

  8. GIO played a request of mine last night. I think Glen must have put in a good word about my improved behaviour since the ASBO was lifted. I'd actually been listening to a Front Row prog about Peggy Seeger on radio 4 - catch it if you can, it's good - so it was a surprise to even catch the shout.

    Should I try again tonight?

  11. I see BD is trying to claim the theme tonight. Very JfE-ish.

So what is the verdict on this Scot who has won The Voice (we dont get it here, sadly)?
I heard an interview with him this morning and thought I had stumbled into Sportsound with the number of “obviously”s, “like”s and “at this moment in time”s being spouted.

You could do a lot worse than go along to the Green Tree in Peebles on Monday night. She might do a turn in the interval.

As was this. This show was a daily kids programme over here, on in the mornings. It claimed audiences the size of the population of England. You can imagine the conversation beforehand. "This is a kids show, right? Are you sure about this?"

I imagine this could have been the turn at the Green Tree in Peebles on Monday night.

"Too small? Really? Maybe your *cough* is too big!"
