Music You Kids Introduced You Too

I feel we had this theme before. Julie and Madmac are the only ones whose kids seem to have any musical taste....unless you can tell Bryan any different...

  1. A repeat theme? Surely not.

    When's space on again?

    1. I did note that someone on the other side had Clouds Across The Moon as a ringtone.
So I dont think its gonna be a long, long time...

    2. The ringtone theme is just intros or riffs under another name. Frankly I feel cheated.

My lassie and my son-in-law introduced me to the music of Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Given the weather in Glasgow today Texas Flood would be "good to hear."

    2. It wasn't "good to hear" - they actually played it - when did you last hear a blues record on this show?

Good to see the Liquid Entertainer back on form. If she keeps giving clues as to where she is, we'll be able to have our next get together in her local.
I'd fly over for that one.

Wet and windy here. The tourists and the Beeb think its another Brazilian cock up.

  4. I was so incensed with Carl Bildt suggesting a "Yes" vote would lead to the "Balkanisation of the British Isles"... Does he not under stand that as Obergruppenführer I DO want to set off "unforeseen chain reactions".

  5. Oh & btw GIO sceptic & 90's Retro Kid are both scrubbed for not following the party-line and demonstrating freedom of thought!

  6. here - I'm a bit on the slow side, agreed, but I've just noticed the cheeky remark at the top. My kid has great taste and is responsible for many of my favourite albums. Pointless asking GIO to share them with the nation 'cos of my inability to tell BB and MissB I love them still in spite of all their faults.

here's on I didn't suggest There Will Be Fireworks

Margherita Still I was born on Father's day, my dad ran the mile and he taught me how to shoot when I was about 4, so Shoot the Runner by Kasabian fits nicely, 30 years since he passed away and I can still smell his Fisherman's Friends!

      MONDAY

We will not be hearing Oliver's Army, because

      a) It didn't quite make it to the #1 spot, and

      b) It is currently sharing a BBC sin bin with The Sun Has Got His Hat On.

    3. I've got a copy of The Sun Has Got His Hat on, and a gramophone to play it on. For all the times we played it as kids, along with She Wears Red Feathers, I Get a Kick out of You and The Missouri Waltz (Mum's record collection) I don't remember noticing the unmentionable word. In fact, if anyone would like to buy this unique set of collectables they live in my garage and are looking for a good home.
