    3. that is the biggest theme turnaround...Britpop = beatles. Henri must have been pleading his case as usual

    4. Well, having credited everyone but the Beatles, I thought I'd correct that.

They went with "You Can't Do That" in the end, which is fair enough, though I'd pleaded for "If I Needed Someone" as being the more representative.

To my surprise, I really enjoyed the show, particularly Elastica - interesting story of the girl who was the lead guitarist.

    5. Justine Frischmann's father was a well known civil engineer, like Norrie.

    6. A very clever man (Willem Frischmann not Norrie who can barely spell...)

    7. Well, you managed to spell Frischmann - and Garvie & Co is rather fetching, even from the back these days - which is the panoramic vista from Chateau Hannah. Don't be so hard on yourself.

It was while studying to be an architect that the bold Justine met that bloke from Suede, Brett Anderson - and it all happened from there.

Interesting as all that is, Donna Matthews is more interesting still. Carl Jung, it was, who discovered that you can't cure an addictive personality - the best you can do is find a less physically harmful addiction and Donna seems to have gone the distance to prove him right.

Ordered my copy of 'Elastica', which I'm rather looking forward to.

    1. Memo to Nikki the fish: In my absence there has to be no deviation from the three 3 B's... crass and offensive don't rhyme.

You leave me no alternative but he ask John Jo or KK to deputise in the future.

      Regards,

      Leader
