    7. It's in Greenock library of course. Always a good selection of music books.Haven't read it though - hard to follow The land Lay Still; Got a recent Val McDermid which is just so poorly written - I thought better of her, but it's a sort of inferior Harlan Coben take on the Jade Goodie story, which I suppose should have been warning enough, but didn't know that when I started it.

  5. Sorry Billy. Havent given you much support on the Board Game Theme yet.
    Here's a few:

Not sure the Beasties will fit the mood.
Also dont think the Scorpions will be played. The damage caused by radios being hurtled through windows would be immense.
Without going all Kelvin Daley on you, this could be played

    2. as far as GIO is concerned the likesay us don't exist so I don't think she'll be worried.

      Pre-broadcast pep-talk

Miss B " Now, Susan, remember you're only a presenter, you describe folks' teas and tell how they're dancing round the kitchen and then you put on the record I hand to you. Should you by some accident see an imaginative suggestion for a song you pass it right over to me and I'll replace it with 500 miles, Swim till you Can't see Land or The Bluebell Polka. That's us got the eclecticism angle covered. Remember, in GIO terms 'eclectic' means a mix of tried and tested tunes from different genres, the emphasis being on tried and tested - the listeners are in general not very bright and they think this is an amazing show of originality. Obviously to keep this charade up we will play over the week possibly as many as two of your own preferences thereby extending our repertoire to 24 songs.
Got that, Susan? Just to be clear, I'm the boss, don't let the insane giggling fool you. I may not know much about music, but by hokey I know what I like to have played on GIO.
Now off you go, the first request will be from Margherita Still, followed by Bohemian Rhapsody as suggested by Erik Zoha and don't forget to mention that Fergie's having lobster bisque for his tea.
