  2. previously on the not blog.

i'm with HH on the 'frightened rabbit' thing.......i don't see what's good about any of the current crop of bands....what i find especially rubbish is how they slip in the odd contrived scots twang......mince imho.and the tunes are weak...whatever happened to glasvegas.......i was about to ask whatever happened to texas....but whatyakno......they're back and on gio......

    cheers frae the dale

    1. You're right - it's just as put on as an American accent but sounds more artificial.

    3. contrived Scots twang - hmm. That's as opposed to the vernacular, presumably?

    4. I quite like some Frightened Rabbit songs, just most definitely not Swim. I doubt very much if BB likes it, I just think it's his nod to the current scene. Which obviously I don't think is all bad since most of what's on my ipod is current - the last 2 bands I saw were mere striplings and the brilliant Band tribute at CC was all 'current' singers.

    6. It's quite a worrying development this 'fake' Scots that's reared its head. I blame Billy Kay..who is just comical in the way he talks....no that's too kind. It's just stupidity.

The twins are quite authentic,.... but then that's Fife fur ya.

Or is it a class thing.
