    1. I'm getting quite nervous about it all...hope nobody takes offence with it being in aid of a mental health charity...at The Stand, with its backdrop of a wee boy with a gun at his head...and one of the raffle prizes being from Cuckoo's bakery...oops! Jx

  9. I probably said this last year but the Paisley Abbey concerts with whoever and the RSNO is a genius idea. Roddy Hart and King Creosote were fantastic last year, but Idlewild were even better - absolutely superb concert last night.

    3. I had seen Q's one asked for on FB and thought Id blast it out of contention with Leo's breakthrough single. Knew it would get played.
Didnt think they would play both. The power of Q on the show I suppose.

  12. LOL - No 1 Song in Heaven for Billy, Glen.

"First No 1" as a theme suggests the artist had to have more than one so presumably "only No 1"s dont count.

Got my ticket for Bert Inspired though. Robert Plant's going to be there. And me. Eat your heart out, Patty Griffin.

    4. Haven't booked that yet, Billy but it's well worth going to. Looks a better line-up than last year, which I thought was disappointing compared to the previous 2. Now nervously wondering if I really do have a ticket for the Bert Jansch show as I've not had email and the woman on the phone took about 20 attempts to get my card details correct.
