Blog Apology

I have noticed there is a spam section which I should have been checking. There were quite a few posts in there and obviously too late to post them now.

My apologies if you think I was moderating the blog - except I might if anyone posts under my name again.

  1. I think you do very well with three blogs, a full time job and a full social life.

  3. Henri's going to Inverness to see Candi Staton. No one told him she's a regular at The Ferry.

    1. Is she not a gospel gal these days? Never had you down as tambourine shaker, Henri.

    2. Well a lot of the tambourine shakin stuff was remixed into disco, which i love -there's several genres all mixed up in Candi, so it'll be interesting. I'm not a tambourine shaker myself but I like things by the likes of Andre Crouch & The Diciples. Out of curiosity, I went to see the London Community Gospel Choir in the Arches and was completely knocked out by the power of the thing - I understand that Marc Cohen line "Well I am tonight", you really could feel moved by the sdpirit of the thing. So if Candi does some of that it's cool with me, but I'm hoping for some old fashioned Soul n Disco.

Has wining the confederations cup stopped the trouble - it'll settle down once the World Cup gets going.

  4. Well,I bought the tickets before the Ferry was announced (I think), but it'a a nice train journey, a night in a decent hotel and I can still go to the Ferry on Thursday(if it's not sold out). I'm happy anyway. I'm really up for it, I think her work is luminous and I've never heard her live. It'll be hard for anyone to match the Vintage Trouble gig at the ABC a couple of weeks ago, though.

Just looked at last night's playlist and I see what you mean SG.
    Quite a change of theme.
Was an explanation given on air Billy? (Knowing that Billy is the only Blogger who still listens every night).
